Chipotle ranch dressing is a bold fusion of tangy, creamy homemade ranch dressing and smoky chipotle peppers with a touch of heat. This dressing gives a southwestern upgrade to everything from burritos and tacos to sandwiches, burgers, and salads. And it only takes 5 minutes to make!
Ingredients
- Greek yogurt & mayo – most ranch recipes use buttermilk or sour cream as the base for the dressing, but we use Greek yogurt and light mayo to keep things lighter while still achieving that delicious creamy texture.
- Chipotles in adobo- for a unique smoky and spicy flavor.
- Lime juice – for a vibrant citrus touch.
- Apple cider vinegar – for a little extra tanginess.
- Seasoning – garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, sea salt, cracked black pepper give this sauce the signature ranch flavor.
- Water – for thinning to the desired consistency.
How to Make Chipotle Ranch Dressing
Combine all the dressing ingredients in a small food processor or blender. Pulse until smooth. Add more water to thin the sauce if it is not the desired consistency. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
How to Store
Store chipotle ranch dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir jar contents before each use.
