These Raw Quinoa Walnut Brownie Bliss Bites are delicious, naturally sweetened, plant-based raw brownies rolled into cute bite size balls. A little package of guilt-free, nutrient-dense and healthy indulgence!
Why We LOVE These Brownie Bliss Bites
We absolutely LOVE these Raw Quinoa Walnut Brownie Bliss Bites. They are a weekly fridge staple, for so many reasons!
- Nutrient-Dense – these bliss bites (or energy bites) are super nutrient-dense. Quinoa is packed with plant-based complete protein and complex carbohydrates and walnuts load these bites with healthy fats.
- Naturally Sweetened – these bliss bites use dates and maple syrup as a natural sweetener. No refined sugars here!
- No Added Oils – most brownies use oil to help bind the ingredients together and keep the brownies moist. Raw brownie bites, on the other hand, use sticky dates and maple syrup to hold everything together, so there’s no need for oil, which helps cut back on the fat content and keeps these bites light.
- Quick to Make – these brownie bliss bites only use a handful of ingredients that can all be loaded into your food processor, making these bites quick to make. Plus, no heating up of the oven required and best of all, no waiting for deliciousness to bake!
Make Raw Brownie Bliss Bites
Combine the quinoa, dates, ½ cup of walnuts, cocoa, maple syrup (if desired), and almond milk in the food processor. Pulse until the mixture is thoroughly processed and forms a sticky ball. The batter will be pretty sticky.
Remove the food processor blade. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
We haven’t tried to make this recipe in a blender, but you may be able to process the ingredients in a high-powered blender, like vitamix, nutribullet or ninja blender.

Finely chop the remaining ½ cup of walnuts. Use a spoon to form bite-size balls of brownie batter. Roll the balls in the chopped walnut to coat the outside. You can omit this step or use as much or as little of the walnuts for coating as you want. I like the extra crunch.
Store bliss bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days. This recipe yields roughly 10 to 12 bites.
